We Visited Me Mom--Therapy Irish Terriers

Miss Amy brought us to see me mom last night. She kept telling us to be "good therapy dogs" and me thinks to meself "Uh Oh, I'm only a level 1 graduate (and I've a LONG way to go.... has she lost her mind?" But, I got to me house, went to me bedroom, and me Moms was there laying on me bed. I knew she was not well. I gently laid by her left side and put me head on her chest. I didn't move. She needed me ( and I needed her), and I just gave her love. First things first though, McMuffer and I had a contest to see who could give her kisses the longest--me on her left cheek and McMuffer on her right cheek. She had tears in her eyes, so we knew that she needed kisses.

I looked up at her with me big brown eyes every so often to let her know that I'm here for her. I love me moms so, so much.

McMuffer left the room to make sure her food bowl was there (of course)---plus sized model, you know. She rubbed in the clothes in the closet and she checked in on us every now and again. Me? I never moved... glued to me mom's side. Sidenote: McMuffer now weighs 32 lbs. (down from 43 lbs) and has about 5 lbs to go. She's upset that she may lose her contract with her modeling agency for the big and beautiful. She's quite slender, I must say.

Me moms doesn't feel like using the puter too much these days (even with the iPad that me pops bought her) so she asked me to apologize. She is just in too much pain. So, I snuck onto the puter when she wasn't lookin'. Send some zen and pawers her way. They are trying to find the best surgeon for the procedure, and me hopes that she just magically heals without it, but the docs say it is necessary. Me thinks she needs to hurry up and get out of pain, heal, and get me home. I miss home, me toys, me yard, me runs with her, me treats, me Tempurpedic bed, me pillow, me mom's lap, me sofa, me pops' embrace, me pops belly rubs, and stealing off of me kitchen counter.

Thanks to all of you for the kind words and the Tulips from DWB....amazing. Me moms favorite is tulips.

Just one more time... look how precious I am FINALLY resting with me moms!!!! Blimey, I love that lady. She's the best moms in the world. But if I had to choose where I rather be if she can't care for me right now, it's with her friend Miss Amy.... she is awesome. I've been a bad boy for her though. Not because I mean to, but it's just so much fun to be bad. Remember, I'm Irish...

Here are some photos taken at Easter--just the weekend before the wreck. Look how happy we are!! Oh, I miss me mom. Oh, and there is one that has me with me 1st acupuncture needle. By the way, that holistic vet cured me.. I haven't had a problem since the day I saw her---March 31st. I now know how McMuffer got fat----I enjoy me food now---raw, baby. It may be a while before you guys hear from us, but we miss you like crazy!!!!!!!

A new doggie (unisex) pawfume was purchased

for me muffur and me. It is called "Sexy Beast",

and it smells so, so good.

Even the vet commented that we smelled good.

Some of you know that me McMuffer, McJules, is a model.

Some of you ALSO know that I am out of commission for a while

because I have injured me cruciate ligament and me paw pad.

SO, me muffer thought that she would teach me the

tools of her trade to occupy me time since

I can't go on walkies or go to daycare right now.

BUT, me Laciegirl comes over every night to take

care of me. What a great nurse she is!!!

I just don't remember much after she leaves... bizarre, huh?

Me muffer is giving me Laciecakes, er, um,

FREE FANNY LIPO.

She just barks and bites whatever she can get first (her arse)

when she sees me Laciebeastienurse enter our home.

I digress... out of me personal life and on to me

WE WON BIG AGAIN!!!!!!!

This time, we won 5.6 million smackeroonies!!!!

Well, after those doggone taxes (more than human taxes),

We were only left with 1.1 million smackeroonies.

We spent the next couple of days getting spa treatments and

So, off to the jewelry counter we went!

She had the hardest time making up her mind....

We realized we had spent ALL the money!!!!

This video was shot on Saturday (before me muffur hurt her foot) by accident. Me mom's ipawd was shooting this video, and she didn't know it.

So, sorry about the finger and cord in the way and the other stuff. Just try to focus on the most beautiful thing in the world... the bonding of two Irish Terriers that a good walkie brings to life.

This is our daily routine. Me fur mom gets a walk/wog in with me mom and me in the morning and in the afternoon. I run with me mom 4 days a week, but me fur mom can't handle that yet because of her extra poundage. She's getting there though. She now walks (every now and then breaks into a wog) 2 miles in the morning and 1 mile in the evening.

She also cannot drink any of your green bean recipes like Long Island Green Bean Iced Tea, or Cosmopawlitan (add a splash of green beans), or Green Bean Martinis. These, me dear, have many calories, and that's what me muffur has to forgo. To keep the peace, please do not offer any of your nutritional ideas, for they only make our bonding more difficult. For future information, a fat lady gets awfully grumpy when teased while on a diet.

INTRODUCING...THE NEXT LANE BRYANT MODEL AND BIG AND BEAUTIFUL MODEL:

Hello all! I'm here, Irish, and I'm fat and fabulous! I am a plus-sized model, you see. Now me Mom has me on a diet. I was stripped yesterday (Oh, McG says to clarify that I wasn't strippING...not that kind of girl). And now, I am georgeous!

I am quite angry at me son right now. He entered me in the Biggest Loser auditions. As if! They have been calling me cell phone, and I cannot get them off me back now. I have to lose almost half me body weight, so the vet says. Oh, and the doc also says after every test he could think to run that I am healthy, but, ahem, obese (I say plump).

I have been walking 1 mile in the morning and 1 mile in the evening. I even broke into a run this morning for about 1 minute. Me Mom runs me monster of a son for about 4-5 miles after we walk all together. I love this routine, but sheesh, these walkies are awfully tiring for this Irish lady. Just show me to me tea and crumpetts please! Mmmm...me getting hungry. Oh, and Laciecakes, I just have to meet you. Me son says you are eloquent and polite as I. And, Stan, we must also meet very soon. Me son says you are quite the catch!

Later folks, me Mom and son just walked in. How do they go that far? And he STILL has energy....sheesh. I must get to designing Laciegirl's purple hot pants and halter top. Just kidding! That is what she requested, but me thinks that a purple lacey, long, dress with some sequins for her dazzling personality will do. Did I mention LONG dress?

Oh, and later I will post the video where I tell me son in Bill Cosby's words..."I brought you into this world, and I can take you out" in one little growl.

We were so tired after our walk. Me mom said that we did great on our walk together- side by side and no pulling. I walked next to me mom and Jules walked on the outside, but we were on the left side of me mom.

We KNOW that Mom is alpha...that is for sure. But, we have not established a pecking order just yet. She wants to be and I am going to win this. I have been bullying her around so far, but me mom said that could change.

I want to play with her. I keep bringing her me toys, but she will not interact. I hope she gets to be more fun eventually. Me thinks that she is going to warm up to us soon. She is just tired from her long trip to the South.

Now, do you REALLY think that I would have to resort to her as a, well, you know....seriously folks...really? Me? THE Ladies' Man?

NO! She is er, um, spayed, fixed, unable to have any love interests, just my mommy/sister, you get what I'm sayin'? Just a playmate and companion!!!! She's so cool too!

This is my fur mommy. She is 5 years old. Isn't she pretty? She is going to be coming to live here with us permanently for many reasons. I don't really know how I feel about it. I've been told that she is gonna be the alpha because she is a bitch (speaking in correct terms, not rude terms).
But, My MOM will and always be alpha, but you know, in nature the pack has an order. So, here, it might be Mom, then, er, um Mister, then me! Hmmph....Not sure how I feel about being last...

She will be flying in from Pennsylvania on Saturday. So, please keep your paws crossed. Say some prayers that we have a smooth re-introduction and we love each other. Mom is worried about us not liking one another (which we have a great home lined up if that happens). Mom is also just anxious because she will have TWO of us, and she is just unsure of the unknown.

Please say some prawers for us! We will ALL have quite a transition. We have lots of help and support from many folks, and with you all behind us too...well, we are going to be A.O.K!!!!

As a closer... Oh yeah, baby, I got it and earned it!!!!!! Lacie, I love ya, girlie, but I HAD to wear this with pride!!!!!

What is it, Mom? I was just catching up on the most recent issue of New York Magazine so I can see what's going on in Asta's world (Notice the magazine to the right).

Okay, this is my ex-girlfriend, "Little Lady", and I kid you not on the name. I met her at daycare, and we remain friends. She dumped me because I'm too much of a Ladies Man for her. As you can see, although pics do not do it justice, she had a rather large derriere. So, I ain't afraid of big rumps. Anyway, I don't believe that Lacie's can be THAT big. Obviously, I'm feeling better. I just thought that I would, you know, catch up on business in the Wall Street Journal (my fave, by the way), you know to see what I missed while I was ill. I dont' know why Mom is making a big deal out of this... So, then, I quickly pretendend like I was sleeping and I had no idea how this paper was shredded. Brilliant, huh? AND, I think my Mom doesn't have a clue that it was me who shredded The Journal. HEE HEE!

By the way, I ate a full meal today, and my tummy is a little better. Hopefully, this is the magic answer. I have let my Mom sleep soundly for 2 nights, so I think I am on the up and up. Soon, I'll have Guiness. Thanks for all your prayers and concerns. Please continue them.

I finally laid down about 4 hours ago. This is the first time I have been still since 2am! I am so stressed,man! Phew! I hope I'm better soon! I have my Southern Charm School class tomorrow night. Vet Visit Today

Well, I just left the doctor for my tummy. Mom was worried because I was acting so weird, but she was embarrassed to say that my only symptom was weird stomach noises. But, I've had tummy issues since October, and she felt she needed to let me visit with Dr. Cade. He is a great doctor, and I like him a lot. I think he's quite fond of me too, but who isn't? I digress (but I'm vain, you know). I have visited him almost every month since October with tummy issues, and I've had a gammett of tests and x-rays.

In summary, we are not very sure about this episode of "the loud tummy" that I have had a couple times over the last week. I'm not hurting, vomiting, or having diarrhea. But, I am quite disturbed and distressed. The doc gave me a couple of injections to settle my tummy and calm me, and a round of antibiotics. He said there might be something in my yummy food that is not agreeing with me, so we are swiching foods today (if I eat).

I'm just pacing quickly around the house with my tail down, and check in with Mom every 10 sec and put my head on her leg just to tell her I am not feeling good. My tummy is still at it, and I'm pretty pitiful. Please keep me in your prayers.

McGillicutty Demonstrating Sit, Down, and Stay

Yep. We are doing our homework for Tuesday's class. Mr. Randy at Alpha K9 has been helping us too. I like to clown in class, and Mom says it is that little lepruchon coming out in me (she thinks all Irish Terriers have that in them). Mr. Randy says GTA (whatever that means). I just love the attention that I get when Mom says "Stand" and I roll on my back and show my belly and smile at all the folks.

On a different note, I had tummy troubles last night. Mom was up at 2:08 am until 4:00 am with me. I didn't have any issues with vomiting or diarrhea, but just these LOUD sounds coming from my belly. They were so loud that it would make me jump up and off the bed. Mom took me for an hour walk (ahhh...an early morning stroll) and gave me Pepcid and simethicone. Then, she rubbed my belly until I felt better. I have the BEST Mom ever!

Should I change food? Ahhh...this topic bores me! I just want somethin' yummy for my tummy!

One of my favorite afternoon activities... sitting on the porch and watching and waiting for something... maybe a squirrel or even a good stick or pinecone to fall from the trees.

My new love is sweet potatoes. Mom buys these dehydrated sweet taters and they are so good! I just love them and I will do just about anything for one. My favorite toy right now is something called a puzzle bone.

I also am fond of my big stuffed moose. Well, most of the time. The other night, we had just finished watching a scary movie and I guess I was spooked or something. I jumped off the bed and ran into my dad's office and began furiously barking. Dad came and checked on me (Mom was still creeped out from the movie. Coupled with the fact that I don't bark unless there is someone or something lurking around that is not supposed to be, mom was spooked) When Dad got there, he realized that I was only barking at my moose (aka meeshka mooshka) on the sofa in my dad's office. What? That thing is scary in the dark!

McGillicutty climbed in between us right where he usually sleeps. He rolled over, put his head on my pillow, and kissed me until he fell asleep...literally! As he kissed me, his big brown eyes closed and he fell asleep mid-lick with his tongue sticking out. Then he rolled over onto his dad's shoulder and slept there the rest of the night. What a sweet, sweet boy!
