Let me tell you about it!
Okay, I'll join you!
Well, not for long.
Okay, I'll DO IT!
MMMMM...So, THAT's why you sit so pawfectly, muffur!
Kissie, Kissie!
This is our cousin (me Mom and Dad's nephew), Cade. He loves the Irish! What's not to love?
This is a friend and fan of mine, Ms. Marie. She stopped by to visit the other day, and me Doggie Godmother, Janie (her daughter), took these pics! They brought us treats (98% fat-free ones to me muffer and I got the REAL thing), and they brought me Mom and Dad a bottle of wine. They know the way to an Irish heart, huh?
After all this action, me muffur is getting very sleepy!
And, me thinks I'll follow her lead! Over and out.....
Lots and Lots of Irish Love and Luck and Kisses and Hugs!

So, is she proud of her son?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like woo are settling in together pretty well!

Lovely pics of the two of you there - we don't get all this sit for a treat business.
ReplyDeleteAnother stupid idea these humans came up with if you ask us.
That was a very cute little biped you had there.
And as for presents of treats and wine - well tell Ms Marie and Janie they will always be welcome in Scotland!
love and kisses

Looks like you two are doing fine. And how nice of the visitors to bring special treats for Mom. Both Moms, as a matter of fact.
ReplyDeleteBonding in progress - slow down and enjoy
We don't know too many Irish terriers -- in fact, we now know just two -- but it seems to us that you and your mom have a very strong resemblance. True???
ReplyDeleteAs for that "sit" thing -- you have no idea how many times we have to sit in a single day. Sit to go outside, Sit to come inside. Sit for breakfast, Sit for the (rare) treat. Sit for dinner.
We do it. We have little choice -- or we'd still be sitting in front of the door with our paws crossed and our tummies growling!!
Wirey woofs,
Jake and Just Harry
Hi new friends..thanks for stopping by our blog. You guys are very cute. I bet you are getting ready for St. Patricks day..BOL
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Hello, McGillicutty! Thanks for visiting my blog. I always love meeting new friends. I love to dig too, especially in the sand and snow. My brother, Tagpi, is a Jack Russell Terrier and he's the only terrier I know who doesn't know how to dig. Can you believe that?! A terrier that can't dig! You should pay us a visit so you can teach him the art. Good work on all the pretty sit-stays! I find that hoomans are more willing to give up more tasty treats when us pups have our butts planted firmly on the ground.
ReplyDeleteHi there! I found my way here from Lacie's bloggie. I'm Bonnie the (not so) wee Scottie. Tell yer mummie I am on a reducing diet too. Sigh. I'd sit for a treatie right now fer sure!
ReplyDeletesniffies to you both,
Bonnie
Hi, Gillie!
ReplyDeletePerfect positions to get treats!
I am not able to obey "any" command but I understand when my mom tells me to sit... I know if I do it... I get a treat!
Sure you had fun with your visitors!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
Hey! Sorry I didn't visit you sooner, but the link that comes with your comments doesn't send me to your bloggy. I actually had to ask the Lacie Beast where you lived. Now she thinks I owe her one. As if!
ReplyDeleteHow do you pop up and down from a sit so fast? Must be those springy terrier leggies you have. Do you live with your mom? I thought that was considered bad form. But she does look kind of cute with her little beard and all.
Slobbers,
Mango
It looks like the two of you are becoming the greatest of friends!
ReplyDeleteWe'll sit for treats! Heck, we'll do anything we're asked to do for treats!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
Hiya Gillie. Nice moves by you and your Muffur. I can see you are going to be under her paws pal. Yeah that sit thingie has me boppin' and a hoppin' all day long. But for treats I'll throw in a couple of square head banging move too.
ReplyDeleteWiry wags Eric xxx
Sit? Only occasionally! Either of us! On command? Only me. Jake. If there is a visible reward. Guess we've got a lot to learn, and you look like great role models.
ReplyDeleteAnd ... to answer your question ... yes ... by all means .... muffer deserves two special days of celebration. But, for that matter, really EVERY day deserves a celebration in our households.
Trying our best,
Jake and Fergi
Pee esS. Darling little human you've got there. Does he sit on command?
Honestly, Gillie...you two dogs look like you've been living together forever!!! We think you've won the FASTEST ADJUSTMENT TO NEW TERRIER IN THE HOUSE AWARD...ok, ok...there is no such award, but you guys rock...
ReplyDeleteSo...what time DOES your mom go to sleep? I tried sneakin' in last night, but I heard her bark..."Who's there? Is that Lacie? It's the middle of the night, girl...(harumph, it was only midnight...)...so I took my green bean SOO FLAY and left...I'll be back at 1am tonight...bringing a delicate Mango flavored smoothie for your sipping enjoyment...
Kisses, dear boy and are ya gonna let your mom post?
Laciecakesgirliebeastie....
Hey, Gillie...you should see how fast Lacie sits...her BUTTS SO BIG IT JUST CRASHES TO THE FLOOR...
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA!
Her so smart brothers!!!
You're family is getting better and better looking all the time. Willow loves the beards!
ReplyDeleteYou darn right I sit for treats-pretty dang easy way to get something tasty! Not that I'm braggin', but I even learned to High Five and High Ten for a biscuit!
ReplyDeleteYour buddy, Bocci
